Sayville teen becomes newest member of Islip Town Environmental council

The newest member of Islip Town Environmental Council is 17-years-old.
Sayville High School senior Harrison Bench has been selected after lobbying town officials to adopt more green measures to combat climate change.
Bench is the only teen on the council.
Bench will sit with scientists and environmentalists and says he already attended his first council meeting in August.
