News 12 Long Island has learned the Sachem School District could close schools to fix a multi-million dollar budget hole.
Worried parents packed into last night's Sachem school board meeting to hear the bad news.
Sachem could close anywhere from one to four schools to deal with a $1.3 million dollar shortfall.
The school board says options include closing the Seneca Middle School or closing multiple elementary or middle schools.
There's another meeting on the issue October 28.
