A Nassau County steakhouse manager is accused of taking a bite out of the restaurant's profits.
Police say Barry Pearlstein stole more than $230,000 from the Ruth's Chris restaurant in Garden City between 2009 and this summer.
News 12 Long Island has learned the 70-year-old pulled it off by under reporting sales and reducing the amount of cash deposits.
Pearlstein surrendered this morning after an audit revealed the alleged theft. He is facing grand larceny charges.
