A Farmingville man was formally charged Monday for allegedly running a meth lab in Ronkonkoma.

Police say it happened at Quantitative Laboratories owned by 23-year-old Matthew Leshinsky.

They say officers were investigating a burglary there in May when they found $40,000 in cash along with equipment and chemicals used to make the drug.

Police say Leshinsky was the one who called in the burglary to police.

He now faces multiple drug charges and is due back in court next month.
