A Hewlett man is accused of swindling investors out of more than $700,000.

Investigators say Ronen Kakai told investors he was going to buy shares in Facebook before last year's big initial public offering.

Instead, the Manhattan district attorney says the former securities broker spent their money on country club fees, shopping trips and car payments.
