A Wal-Mart employee is accused of stealing $23,000 from a Valley Stream store. 
Police say Rodney Sabin, of Valley Stream, would steal the money during customer returns.
According to police, Sabin would give the customer credit, but would place the same amount of money on a gift card and keep it for himself. 
Wal-Mart became suspicious of an unusual amount of returns totaling $23,000.
