Two men are under arrest after police say they robbed two women at gunpoint in separate incidents at supermarkets in Suffolk County.

Robert Cummings, 18, and Javon Brown, 22, are accused of holding up the women.

Police say the two men robbed two women at gunpoint and stole their pocketbooks. One robbery happened at the King Kullen in Shirley and the other happened at the Pathmark in Patchogue.

The suspects allegedly led officers on a short chase after police spotted their getaway car. Cummings is also accused of driving while on drugs.
