Riverhead officials consider adding patrols, drones to downtown
Officials in Riverhead say they are working on a new safety plan for the downtown area.
According to Newsday, officials are considering cameras, increased police foot patrols and drones.
They say improved lighting in streets and parking lots is also being considered.
Officials hope the measures continue to help revitalize the community.
