The 20-year-old admitted that it began when he was babysitting the girl when she was just 5 years old.
The man also threated to kill the child if she told anyone.
It lasted for four years before the victim's mother found out something was wrong.
The man's name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
He will be sentenced in September.
