The Rice High School boys? basketball team is preparing to take on Lincoln in the New York State Federation Championship Friday.
Rice center Curtis Kelly was recently named the CHSSA AA MVP. Kelly led the Raiders to a 12-2 record in the AA West Division and to a tie with Christ the King before beating the Royals for both the city and state Catholic League titles.
Rice players Kashif Pratt and Edgar Sosa made the second team. Meanwhile, All Hallows senior guard Darryl Crawford was the only senior to land on the first team.
