Salvatore Miscioscia, a dedicated Rockville Centre Post Office employee, was celebrated with a heartwarming farewell on Thursday as he marked the end of his service.
With a 42-year tenure delivering mail to the Rockville Centre and Oceanside communities, Miscioscia has built strong ties with co-workers and customers alike evolving into a second family for him.
"You see them every day, and over time, you become an integral part of the routine. Many have expressed how much they'll miss me, as I was their link to so much," Miscioscia shared, reflecting on his connections.
In recognition of his years of unwavering commitment, the Rockville Centre mayor honored Miscioscia with a special proclamation.
