A group of Long Island residents and local politicians held a fundraiser in Franklin Square on Sunday to help hurricane victims in Haiti.
The event was held at a Haitian restaurant.
Organizers say 100 percent of proceeds from Sunday's event will go toward Haitian relief where more than 350,000 people are in need of assistance.
Organizations like the Heal Haiti Organization, as well as All Hands Volunteers, say their members are already hard at work.
