Huntington residents escaped their house Saturday moments before an explosion left it in rubbles.Fire officials say the explosion on was caused when workers hit a gas line on Carley Avenue. The workers quickly notified the residents of a nearby house. Fire officials say the occupants were within 15-feet of the house when it ignited. Neighbors say the whole neighborhood was rocked by the blast.Fire officials say the homeowners are safe. A couple of the workers were taken to a local hospital but were not seriously hurt.
