Report: More young adults are living with their parents

More young adults are living with their parents well after they graduate high school or college, and experts say the numbers may be even higher on Long Island.A new Ohio State University report says that more young adults are moving back home with their parents. The report says 17 percent of young adults ages 20 to 34 lived at home in 1980. That number jumped 24 percent between 2007 and 2009.Dr. Marty Cantor of the Long Island Institute for Socioeconomic Policy believes even more young adults are living with their parents on Long Island. Cantor says it's likely because young people are staying single longer and because of the lack of affordable housing in the area.Read the full report
