A report released today examines how climate change might threaten Fire Island.The report, released by two environmental groups, says Fire Island has been affected by so much climate change and erosion that its very shape is changing. The report says Fire Island will be further impacted if the problem isn?t addressed.Fire Island National Seashore Superintendent Christopher Soller says officials have documented changes to the island since 1830. He says it hasn't become smaller, but it's constantly changing.Soller, like many Fire Island fans, wants to know what is going to be done about the issue and who will lead the way.
