Rep. Suozzi says Florida 'Don't Say Gay' law is 'reasonable' during radio appearance

The law bars teachers from talking about sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade.

Glen Cove Rep. Tom Suozzi is drawing some critiques for his comments about Florida's "Don't Say Gay" law.
The gubernatorial candidate called the law "reasonable" on a conservative radio talk show.
The law bars teachers from talking about sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade.
Members of the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters have denounced the measure.
News 12 reached out to Suozzi for comment, but has not heard back.
