Rep. George Santos has only been in office for four months, but he knows he is "reaping the consequences" of his actions.

In an interview with “The Point” on CBS New York, Santos spoke about his fabrications about his family and career. He said he has adjusted to the negativity but that his main focus remains on the 3rd Congressional District he represents.

"I am ashamed of some of the decisions I've made, but I hold near and dear the fact to me that I can cope, that I want to be judged by my work in this body for what I was elected for, the propositions I gave, and I think I'm doing a good job. And I'm going to be judged in two years when my employers, my constituents, decide to hire me again or not," Santos said.

Santos also went on to talk about his plan to force Congress to repeal the SALT bill that has limited the deductibility of state and local taxes.
