A relief center for asylum seekers near the Nassau County border is open.
News 12 is told around 70 migrants moved into the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in Queens on Tuesday.
The center is expected to serve up to 1,000 adult men seeking asylum.
Members of the Floral Park community were recently part of a protest against the facility.
