This week, News 12 focuses on Long Island's hamlets and towns for its 12 Weeks of Summer series. First up, Sag Harbor, where News 12's Danielle Campbell shows us it's filled with shopping and a little bit of history.

Sag Harbor could be considered by some as fashion forward and an art and foodie mecca. Main Street is lined with antique shops, art galleries and designer boutiques.

If shopping isn't your thing, you can get some of the village's history at the windmill or the Whaling Museum. Or take in a show at the Bay Street Theater, which has a show every day during the summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

And don't forget to grab lunch at the American Hotel. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy a fresh lobster BLT. For dessert, head to Big Olaf's for a homemade waffle cone.
