Police are investigating what relatives are calling a murder-suicide in North Babylon Monday.

Although investigators are not saying much about the case, family members blame 26-year-old Erika Delia's ex-boyfriend for her death. Police say they found the bodies of Delia and 24-year-old David Balsamo in the basement apartment the pair onced shared on Foster Boulevard South.

Police confirm Balsamo's death was a suicide, but are witholding comment on whether Balsamo killed Delia or if she too committed suicide.

Relatives say Delia left the abusive Balsamo last month. "I don't know why she'd be back here ... Her job called looking for her," said Delia's tearful sister, Gina Marie Nettuno. She believes Balsamo killed her sister then himself.

Police are waiting for the results of an autopsy before announcing Delia's cause of death.
