REI is opening its second Long Island location in Huntington Station today.
The store is another part of a newly renovated shopping center south of the Walt Whitman Mall.
"We're very excited to be here I worked at our sibling store in Carle Place for almost eight years now and this community has wanted a store in Suffolk County for a very long time they're excited to have us. We're excited to be here,” said manager Graig Ciminelli.
REI opens its doors at 10 a.m.
It will be celebrating its opening all weekend long with giveaways from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
