An Army veteran from Oceanside who is about to be deployed again, is looking for a home for his dog, Ranger.

Ranger is a 2-year-old neutered dog who is up to date on all his vaccinations.

Paws of War will provide veterinary care and training for one year if needed.

The animal protection agency trains and places shelter dogs to serve and provide independence to U.S. military veterans who suffer from the emotional effects of war.
