Officials say rattlesnake and an alligator were removed from a Central Islip home.
The Suffolk SPCA says they received a tip about the 3-foot gator and went to the home to investigate.
Inside, officials say they also found a 5-and-a-half foot Diamondback rattlesnake.
The SPCA says while the reptiles are illegal to possess, the animals appeared to be in good health.
There is no word on if any charges will be filed.
