After years of saving, a Great Neck High School senior has scraped together the funds to pay for a carnival for kids with disabilities.
Raquel Vasinkevich saved $8,000 over four years to pay for a carnival at Brookville Center for Children's Services for her autistic brother Jared and his friends. She even passed on her graduation party to save money.
Raquel tells News 12 she wants to go to law school to become an advocate for the disabled.
