About 150 people rallied in Bayville today to save Glen Cove Hospital.
The hospital's owner, North Shore-LIJ, plans to convert the facility into an ambulatory center by January.
The hospital system intends to maintain emergency care at Glen Cove Hospital.
Glen Cove Mayor Ralph Suozzi says he has repeatedly asked for a meeting with Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the head of the state Health Department, but hasn't heard back.
