WHAT'S NEW: A fast moving storm passes south of Long Island tonight. We are on the fringe of it with the chance for some light snowfall, mostly in Nassau County and Southwestern Suffolk. Totals for most will only be a coating. If there's a little shift we could get a coating to 1" extending a little farther east. Either way it's a light snowfall from about midnight to 5 am, making for a slick early AM commute. Skies clear tomorrow with afternoon sun and gusty northerly winds.
WHAT'S NEXT: Seasonal, breezy, and dry through the rest of the week with the chance of showers and possibly a mix for the upcoming weekend.
