Forecast:
Areas of dense fog have developed overnight and could slow down your morning commute today and tomorrow. However, there are improvements in the forecast. Yesterday was soaking wet. Rain totals exceeded 1 inch in the past 24 hours at Central Park.
Today: Keep the umbrella handy. Dense fog early, then mainly cloudy today. Showers are less numerous today, but one or two are possible after 10 a.m. and lingering into the afternoon. Highs near 70.
Friday: Prepare for the same as today. There’s a chance for some more sunshine tomorrow, but a scattered storm is possible in the late morning or afternoon. Also watch out for morning fog.
Saturday: Warmer with a storm. A passing strong storm is possible from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Otherwise, expect a mix of clouds and temperatures rising to the upper-70s.
Next week: It’s a dry start with cooler temperatures, near 70 degrees. A chance for rain will return for the middle of next week.
