A Queens woman held a fundraiser in Great Neck on Sunday to help raise $200,000 for the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park.
The event’s organizer, Theresa Brucculeri, has been fundraising for the house -- which supports families with children battling illnesses – for 40 years.
"I can't explain the joy and gratification I get from doing this,” said Brucculeri. “Not only because it's Christmas, but because it's a special time for everyone. It makes such a difference for all the people that we serve at the house."
Brucculeri has helped raise an estimated $10 million for the Ronald McDonald house.
