Every morning gas prices continue to climb on Long Island and across the country.
The national average for a gallon of regular went up another 7 cents overnight – sitting at $4.32.
Meanwhile, on Long Island, the average price for a gallon of regular sits at $4.47.
According to AAA, there has been a jump of about 56 cents a gallon in the last week.
Are Long Islanders ditching their own cars and jumping in with other people to carpool?

Experts say carpooling and taking mass transit are ways to save at the pump.
