PSEG LI customers will soon have to shell out more money for their electric bills.
Newsday reports that the power supply portion of customers' bills will increase by about $10 starting in August.
The hike is to cover the cost of fuel and power, which PSEG says has been affected by rising demand.
Last week, News 12 reported on another increase of just under $3, slated for September. That hike allows the utility to recoup expenses when revenue falls short of projections.
