PSEG Long Island customers in the balanced billing program will see fewer changes to their bills.
PSEG will reduce the number of times the balanced billing is re-adjusted, according to Newsday.
The change comes after customers complained there were so many adjustments that they returned to the regular billing system.
PSEG had been adjusting the billing every time new meter readings found a jump in electric usage costs over $3.
Starting in December, bills will only be adjusted when electric usage costs jump over $25.
