A Freeport woman was arraigned Friday for allegedly stealing another woman's identity for the second time.Ana Duran, 33, was first arrested back in April when police say she used another woman's Social Security number to get a car loan and a credit card. Then in July, she was arrested again. Police say she used that same woman's personal information to get another credit card and a $420,000 mortgage on a house in Freeport. The suspect?s attorney claims his client and the alleged victim were friends and agreed to buy the home together. However, police say the two women hardly know each other. They say the only thing they have in common is the same first and last name. Police say the alleged victim first discovered the crime when she was told she was in default on a car loan. Then the investigation revealed credit cards and a mortgage were also taken out in her name.
