Prosecutors: Nassau father and son burned down their print shop amid landlord dispute

A father and son from Nassau County are facing federal charges, accused of setting fire to a building in Queens.

Prosecutors say Narinder Singh and his son Jawahar were in a dispute with their landlord who was trying to evict them from their print shop.

Security footage appears to show the two intentionally put rolls of paper towels on a hotplate before leaving the store. Four hours later, they ignited and fire quickly spread inside the building.

Prosecutors say the fire was the set the same day that their eviction was finalized.

They face federal destruction of property charges.
