Police say a burglary call from a Hewlett pharmacist led to the discovery of dozens of illegal weapons inside.
They say Ilya Ostrovskiy called police about a robbery that happened in July. Once inside the home, they allegedly found 18 semiautomatic pistols, 23 assault weapons, 78 high-capacity magazines and body armor.
The Nassau district attorney says some of the guns were not registered.
Ostrovskiy is also accused of shooting toward the street at the suspected burglars.
He was indicted on 122 counts on Wednesday.
If convicted, Ostrovskiy faces up to 25 years in prison.
