Prosecutors: Bay Shore man sold fentanyl-laced cocaine that led to fatal overdose

Investigators say they found Joseph Pittman's contact information in the victim's cell phone. The victim arranged several meetings with the suspect who went by the nickname "Tank."

A Bay Shore man was indicted Wednesday in connection to a fatal overdose.
Prosecutors say 44-year-old Joseph Pittman sold the man fentanyl-laced cocaine.
Investigators say they later found Pittman's contact information was in the victim's cell phone. The victim arranged several meetings with Pittman who went by the nickname "Tank."
Pittman was taken into custody after prosecutors say he sold drugs to an undercover detective.
