It's day two of the ninth week in the Mangano-Venditto federal corruption case.
The prosecution could wrap up its case tomorrow or Thursday.
Lawyers for former Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and ex-Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto would then get their turn to call witnesses.
Both men are accused of taking bribes and kickbacks from a restaurateur in exchange for loan guarantees.
Mangano's wife is also charged, accused of lying to the FBI.
