An East Hampton day care center has a new operator, which will allow the facility to stay open.
The East Hampton Town Board officially named "Project Most" as the Montauk Child Care Center's new operator.
The center's current operator, The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, was authorized for an emergency grand to help it run the day care until July.
The EOC of Suffolk told parents in February that it was pulling out of running the facility because of rising costs.
"Project Most" will take control of the Montauk Child Care Center this summer.
