As renovation continues on the new Nassau Coliseum, the building is looking much different.
The work being down to the Coliseum includes black paint and crews installing brushed aluminum "fins." A total of 32 giant frames will be put up around the coliseum, each holding 30 fins.
The inside of the building will have a different look as well.
"All new flooring, new walls, new ceiling elements. We'll have all new food service, a great new menu, featuring Long Island food companies, food purveyors," says Rebecca D'Eloia, of Forest City Ratner Companies.
As News 12 Long Island has previously reported, the very first show at the new coliseum will be in April when Long Island's own Billy Joel takes the stage.
