President Trump imposes travel ban from Europe for 30 days

President Donald Trump announced new travel restrictions in an all-out effort to prevent new cases of coronavirus from entering the United States.
Trump says he will be suspending all travel from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days. The new rules will go into effect Friday at midnight.
However, the restriction will not apply to Americans trying to return home - though they will be subject to enhanced health screening - or to citizens of the United Kingdom.
Homeland Security officials also clarified that the new restrictions apply only to most foreign nationals who have been in Europe’s passport-free travel zone at any point within 14 days prior to their arrival to the U.S.
In addition, ,Trump also announced the government will be providing extra support for small businesses.
“Effective immediately, the Small Business Association will begin providing economic loans in affected states and territories these low interest loans will help small businesses overcome temporary economic disruptions caused by the virus," said Trump.
Trump is also calling on Congress to provide Americans with immediate payroll tax relief.
