President Obama has selected United States Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice to replace National Security Advisor Tom Donilo, who resigned this morning.

Rice has been criticized by Republicans who say she gave faulty explanations about what happened in Benghazi when four Americans were killed in a terror attack.

Former White House aide Samantha Power will replace Rice as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
