Powerball fever is gripping the tri-state as the jackpot is now up to $700 million.
The jackpot increased Tuesday from $680 million to $700 million after no winner was drawn Monday night.
There have been 35 Powerball drawings in a row now without a grand prize winner.
At $700 million, this jackpot ranks as the fifth largest Powerball jackpot in the game's 30 year history and the eighth largest U.S. lottery jackpot.
Most winners take a one-time all cash option, so if someone wins tonight they would expect to take home about $335.7 million.
It's $2 for a Powerball ticket. Drawings are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292 million. But you never know - someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Pelham won $50,000 on Monday night's drawing.
