A thaw on the way as daytime temperatures will rise above freezing. This will be our warmest week since the week of January 19th. The warmer temperatures will bring rain tonight and potential of freezing rain and icy roads into Wednesday morning.
As high temperatures rise above freezing during the daylight hours, we will see melting of the snow and ice. Once the sun sets, temperatures at night into the weekend will drop into the teens and 20s. All week long we will deal with the potenital of black ice during the morning hours with the melt and refreeze scenario.
