The Port Jefferson woman who admitted to fatally shoving a beloved Broadway voice coach to the ground was sentenced Friday to 8 ½ years in prison, according to court records.
Lauren Pazienza pleaded guilty to randomly attacking Barbara Gustern as part of a plea deal in August.
The 87-year-old hit her head on a sidewalk in Manhattan in March of last year. She died days later.
Pazienza could have faced a potential 25-year sentence if the case went to trial.
