Hillary Clinton topped her opponent Donald Trump in two important questions from the recent News 12/Hofstra poll.
When asked which presidential candidate would do a better job managing the economy, Clinton came out four points ahead of Donald Trump - 45 to 41.4 percent.
When asked which candidate would do a better job with the threat of terrorism, the gap between Clinton and Trump grew to 10 points - 48 to 38 percent.
Despite Clinton's lead in this poll, many who spoke to News 12 Long Island about the election shared their support for Trump.
"Trump is very strong, he's a serious person. I like him, Please Trump!" said one supporter.
With just two weeks until Election Day, early voting is in full swing. More than 4.4 million people have already cast their votes, far more than this same time in 2012.
