Police say a woman was killed at a home on Lindgren Street in Merrick Saturday.
Authorities tell News 12 they responded to a 911 call just after 2 p.m., and when they got to the house they found the 58 year-old woman dead.
A neighbor who asked us to not show her face says she didn't hear anything suspicious.

"There were no screams, there were no shots, nothing like that that any neighbor would've alerted police to,” she says.

Police aren’t saying how she died, but they are calling it a homicide.

There is no word yet if anyone is in custody.
