Suffolk police say a woman was found dead in a wooded area in Centereach Sunday.
Police say officers responded to a 911 call for a body lying in a wooded area off Hawkins Road just after noon Sunday.
Jaclyn D'Andrea, 33, of Bellmore, was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from Suffolk Medical Examiner's office, according to police.
An autopsy has been performed and the cause of death is under investigation by police detectives.
Police asked anyone with information to contact Homicide Squad detectives at 631-852-6392.
