A woman was found dead in a wooded area in Manorville Thursday.

A jogger made the discovery at 11 a.m. Police say a man was running on Winding Path near the Heathwood Apartments when he noticed the body just east on the roadway.

Homicide detectives say the woman's death is being treated as suspicious, and an autopsy will be performed.

The victim's name won't be released until her family is notified.
