A Freeport woman has been arrested after police say she stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the property management company she worked for in Uniondale.

According to detectives, Nicole Simeona worked in the accounts payable office at Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions and had access to company credit cards.

Police say from February 2021 to February of 2023, Simeona initiated more than 70 fake transactions totaling more than $340,000.

Simeona also used Paypal for two fake transactions and pocketed almost $8,000 for that, officials say.

Simeona has been charged with grand larceny.
