Police say a 30-year-old man stabbed his mother and father to death inside a Bethpage deli on Thursday.

Detectives say police responded to 9:11 a.m. to A & A Italian Deli on Hicksville Road and found two people unresponsive with stab wounds.

A 62-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 70-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police have identified the son as Vito Dambrosio, of Seaford.

Dambrosio entered the deli and had an argument with his parents in a back room, according to police.

Police say he stabbed his mother and then attacked his father. Both had stab wounds to their neck.

Dambrosio is hospitalized and expected to be arraigned bedside.
