A Brentwood man injured in an assault on Feb. 25 recently died from his injuries, according to Suffolk police.
Prosecutors say 44-year-old Carlos Cabrera, of Brentwood, was attacked with a wrench by Ricardo Siguenza.
Authorities say the two did not know each other. Siguenza, 32, also has multiple past convictions.
He is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
